I always think back to when I started going here and am so glad that I decided to choose this school. I have been to other guitar schools and Yossi had me learning the quickest and was by far and away the most entertaining. Can't recommend this place more.

Yosi has been teaching 2 of my kids for the past 4 years and the results have been fantastic. We tried a few teachers before settling on Yosi and found that the kids learning accelerated significantly, they are both now great little guitar players who have developed their skills to a point that they can carry this with them for the rest of their lives. Thanks Yosi for your patience and skills and getting my kids to enjoy their music, its an incredible skill to develop and it takes a certain kind of teacher to be able to pass the music on!

Yossi is a great guitar teacher.
I am an adult student who had no previous guitar experience and wanted to go somewhere where I could try different styles of guitar from Classical/Flamenco on a nylon string to Pop on a steel string.
Yossi has a wealth of knowledge and is a great communicator and can cover these styles and more. Lessons are fun but also stretch my ability and challenge me which is great.
He is very accomodating and patient and will help you with any song or style of music you bring to him.
I started two years ago on a Flamenco guitar playing Spanish and Classical pieces which I really enjoyed and am now also playing a steel string guitar which I’m having an absolute blast with!

I have been going to Yossi for about 10 years, I guess, starting as a novice. Another reviewer described Yossi's lessons as relaxed but diligent which I think is correct. As well as teaching the technical process of playing the guitar Yossi is passionate about getting you to be a better musician. He has a lot to offer in many styles of guitar playing, and (if you like) he will draw on all of these to improve your guitar skills over all. Or (as I am currently doing) if you want to be more specific in what you are playing he can focus on that too. Yossi has a great sense of humour and the lessons are fun and go by too quickly. Definitely recommend giving him a try.

About 30 years ago, Yossi was recommended to me by a local guitar shop owner. In my first lesson, he asked me 'What do you want to learn?" I replied "To play guitar. I've got twelve of the things and my friends are getting sick of Smoke on the Water..." Since then we've had a journey through Rock, Blues, music theory and chord construction, timing, Flamenco, Jazz. Bluegrass and even Country & Western (both kinds), which it turns out I am disturbingly good at. He has a knack for knowing what I need to learn, even if I don't, and is constantly thinking ahead.
Of course, after a couple of months, I had to explain to my wife that I needed another guitar... a classical.
